- Signs we look for: unpaid taxes and tax sales, foreclosure filings and sheriff sales, code violations, vacant buildings, liens, and probate and eviction filings where they are public.
- Two or more live signs put a property in the top tier. Each sign says where it came from and when we last checked it.
- Flags for owners who live out of state or elsewhere, companies and LLCs, and long-time owners.
- Owner of record and mailing address where the public record lets us share them.
Today in Will County: 7,044 properties with signs of distress cleared to share, 24 of them in the top tier.
